I founded Mindshaft LLC in 2002. For over two decades I've served as the outsourced technology executive for South Florida companies — the person who architects the system, writes the code, negotiates with vendors, and picks up the phone when something breaks.

Clients work with me directly. That's intentional — fractional CTO buyers need to trust the person making decisions, and I keep communication straightforward. Mindshaft is not a solo act: I bring in designers, developers, and specialists from a trusted network when a project needs more capacity. Everything is documented, hosted, and supported so your systems keep running even when I'm focused on another engagement.

My work spans the full history of the modern web: classic ASP in the early 2000s, PHP platforms through the 2010s, and today AI-accelerated development on modern stacks. The SFUYSA league platform has served thousands of families across three complete rebuilds over 20+ years and recently won its league back from the industry's dominant national SaaS.

In the last few years I've shipped production SaaS products — FlashQuizAI, Noblix, and WhistleMate — using AI code generation in experienced hands. That's what I bring to consulting clients: firsthand knowledge of what these tools genuinely change about cost and speed, and where judgment still matters most.

Away from the keyboard I'm an avid hiker and outdoorsman. That same preference for clear paths and durable gear shows up in how I build systems — no unnecessary ceremony, just what works.
